FPC Weekly E-Newsletter

THIS SUNDAY:

On Aug. 17, at 10 a.m., Mario Adorno will be preaching a sermon titled "Getting Through the Tuff Stuff," Adorno is the father of four grown children and a long-time volunteer for organizations benefiting youth including Little League and the New York Mission Society. The owner of a trucking company, Adorno has been a member of FPC  for ten years.

 

First Church also will celebrate the baptism of: Audrey Anne Noguera, daughter of Taylor Margis-Noguera and Tina Snowden.

First Church 2nd Annual Baseball Outing

You are invited to join an all-ages group to watch the Brooklyn Cyclones play Saturday, Aug. 23, at KeySpan Park at Coney Island. The group will meet at 4:30 p.m. at the church. For ticket and other information, contact markelsenheimer@gmail.com.

 

Women's Ministry Retreat

Save the date of Saturday October 25, 2008 for our women's retreat.  The theme this year is: "Learning to Live with our Power: Painful or Joy-filled" facilitated by Joy Carol.  If you would like to participate in the planning of this event contact Gladys McNish through the church office at 718-624-3770 or email at fpc124@aol.com.
