Ordination and installation of elders to serve on the Session is this Sunday. We will practice the venerable tradition of laying-on-of-hands for the newly ordained servants of the church---and "touch" will be our theme throughout the worship celebration. Rev. Beth will offer a reflection on this theme.

Highlights included hearing the remarkable stories of the many strong winds of change First Church has passed through in the last year, of the growth in the need for and the response from our Food Pantry, and of developments in the children's program. Rev. Phelps' introduction to the Old Testament continues during the 10 o' Clock Hour. Aware that some people can only come once or twice during this season, Rev. Phelps endeavors to make each session make sense to a first-time attender. Remaining classes will look at the books of the Bible in this manner:
